Well, one cannot go to a party hosted by
Martha Stewart Weddings and not post about it. It has to be against some sort of blogger rule. And to be honest, it was such a fabulous evening I don't even know where to start. So, I'll start at the entrance. Please take a look at the fabulous garland designed by
Ashley Meaders. Love her. We happened to ask how they made it and can you believe they cut out and strung each and every piece? That is decor dedication. Love it. And don't even get me started on that chandelier. I want it in my house, even if it would look completely awkward
(and take up an entire room). Thanks to Shane Carpenter for capturing the evening so beautifully in your photographs.
Of course the details were just beautiful. I suppose that is to be expected when industry super stars plan a party. In my head, this is how everyday should look. Perfect flower arrangements
(these by the uber talented Matthew Robbins), descriptive signs to brand the evening, fabulous little details for the guests, and party dresses. Yes, in my mind, everyday should be a Martha Stewart party.
On top of all the lovely decor, what really made it so fabulous was all the fabulous "stations". From cupcakes to gelato to manicures to eyelashes to glitter eye shadow - they had it all covered. I particularly loved this sassy glitter gal from
the Glitter Bar.
I always say the most important detail in planning a party is the guest list. It truly makes or breaks an event. Well, let's just say this guest list was
literally amazing. I mean
Amy Atlas, Martha Stewart and
Darcy Miller all in one picture just screams extremely fab guest list.
Screams. On top of that - you must check out
Carte Blanche, the sassy band with loads of talent and style. How adorable are they?
Speaking of fabulous entertainment, Jason from
Generation Events was just spectacular. He made it quite easy to dance the night away. Which of course we had to capture in the
Smilebooth. A night isn't complete without awkward
Smilebooth photos. It just isn't.
All in all, a fabulous evening. It's truly wonderful to be able to share a space for an evening with such inspiring talents...
...And then eat lots of sushi at midnight. Yep, that happened.
