Happy Weekend!
Mr. C and I hit the ground running (sprinting even) since 2012 showed its pretty little face. It's been one of those weeks where we have been working so much we haven't really even seen each other yet (does that happen to anyone else? It's bad), so to say we are looking forward to the weekend is the understatement of the year (even though there hasn't been much time in this new year for understatements). Basically what I am saying is that this weekend has been like the carrot at the end of the holiday season stick. We have our entire calendar blocked off for NOTHING. The calendar actually reads "ABBY DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING EVEN IF IT IS FUN" - sometimes I have to yell at myself because if I didn't schedule downtime it just wouldn't happen. It's one of our biggest resolutions for the new year, so let's see how it all pans out. I hope you all have a great weekend, and whatever you do - do not invite me to do something...I hate saying no...

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who yells at myself! This weekend is also pure, unadulterated downtime for us, too and I can't wait!

I soooo feel where you are coming from. I'm always so busy with work I feel I need to schedule time off. Hmm...maybe I'll start doing that. Well, I hope you had a nice relaxing weekend with your honey!
Oh my gosh I seriously have that written in my planner too. Well something of that sort! I will Instagram it to prove it :) hehe hopefully you and Mr. C can get some serious hang out and relaxing time soon! xo
